Re: Europe ( Official Thread)

I can see I am a little late in responding to this thread, but I can't help myself because I adore Europe, Joey especially. I like a lot of their songs and I can't stand The Final Countdown. My favourite of theirs is Prisoners In Paradise, but it's a shame not many people know of it. Superstitious and I'll Cry For You are also great songs.

Re: Europe ( Official Thread)

I have so much love for Europe, they're one of my favourite bands to see live. I saw them play for the third time in Bristol last week, and I genuinely think it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, EVER! It was just amazing, the atmosphere was SO incredible and they delivered on every level. I reviewed the gig on my blog and I'd love to know if anyone else was there and managed to get any videos, it was just SO GOOD!!!

I missed them at Download as they could not get into the country due to circumstances beyond their control, gutted as was looking forward to seeing them.

As previously posted by yours truely there 1st album is worth a listen (if ya can find it?) cos it's pure denim & bullet belts metal before they turned themselves into a bunch of limp-wristed BIG HAIR perfume wearing pretty guy's??. :wank:

Spinning the vinyl LP of Europe "Wings Of Tomorrow". This is a great heavy metal album, minus the syrupy ballad "Open Your Heart". I never heard this before until buying the LP about 2 years ago, I had to be talked into it due to the fact that I didnt want anything to do with anybody who was responsible for releasing "The Final Countdown". I'm glad I gave in cuz this record kicks a**.

And the band is still releasing albums. Their last couple were great.
