This thread will bring back memories to some people, especially in the UK.
Mud had a ton of potential, but they spent way too much time on the 50's revivalist spiel. The glam tracks were far superior & even some of the more aggressive songs like "Nite on the Tiles". Perhaps a better singles act than anything else.
Yeah the singles MUD did were pretty strong , but their was much more to this band that first met the eye.They were good musicians,something I never heard them get credit for. I remember borrowing the MUD ROCK album from a friend at school and being impressed with it....an album that has eluded the bargain bins over the years
