I was thinking of picking up a few WHITESNAKE cds especially SAINTS & SINNERS, SLIDE IT IN (with the UK & US mixes), WHITESNAKE (1987) and SLIP OF THE TONGUE. Also maybe a couple of more recent cds as well.

I did use to have these albums back in the 1990s but sold them.

It certainly was. Looks like this was filmed from the mixing desk, I was at the back, just to the right of the filming position.
Awesome stuff, have to say that I'm a bit jealous! It was nice to hear Hart give some of the old Whitesnake songs a crack (Especially since the only time I'd heard him do them previously was at that Godawful Tony Ashton gig where he'd obviously had a few too many at the bar beforehand and had trouble remembering half of the lyrics!), based on that gig I'd say he's done them better than Coverdale's been able to for years.

Last semester, I was listening to Here I Go Again.. I love this song and my girlfriend was having a bad day, so naturally I had to air guitar and head bang and look dumb(for both of us:tongue:) I threw my head back on the pause right before the first guitar solo and forgot about the wall behind me.. Gave myself a concussion.. Be careful while listening to this band.. they rock.. hard... :D

I like the Coverdale quotes "The longer my hair grows the more albums that I sell".

Also "When I walk out of a room that isn't David Coverdale that you see walking out the door but WHITESNAKE!!".

Classic stuff David. :oyea:

Listening to the albums from my favourite period of Whitesnake "Trouble" through to "Slide It In". The contribution from Jon Lord was immense the overall sound is banged up a few notches and a fuller, deeper, richer vibe is the result for me. Jon has to be one of my all time favourite musicians .. just brilliant.

Sykes-era all the way for me. I enjoy the pre-Slide stuff, but it was Sykes that got me into the band.
