I can only listen to a song or two in a row by these guys. My friends love them but they make me sleepy. They largely took Alice In Chains style IMO except they lack the melodies that made AIC great.

Happy to hear it LOU! I hope when they release their next album (if there is going to be one in the next year or so) that it has the feel that The Oracle has. It just shows how much they've improved when listening to that, and comparing it to their earlier releases. Don't get me wrong, their earlier work is incredible, but The Oracle is a very very good album for recent releases. (even if it was released last year)

Scoured the bargain cd bins and got a real gem.....the GODSMACK debut album.....a great buy for a quid !!!

I consider godsmack to be more of a hard rock group than metal, but the same could be said by anyone referring to any metal band. They do great live, ive seen them in Indianapolis and Tampa before

One of the best bands I've seen live. Going again in a couple months. I didn't really like The Oracle much though. It was just... missing something. I recommend Faceless.
