^ That's fair enough, if you like The Open Door (which is not a bad album by any means), but I agree with LG. The same thing happened with John & Yoko and Heart when they mixed business with pleasure.

Judge for yourself! I made a thread for them with a backstory on the lead singers solo as well as I've always been a fan of hers even before Idol and she had a different name. I liked that album really good and so did other members here by the thread!

No problem and it makes sense that they do sound like Evanescence considering it was fueled by the original songwriter. I don't see the two followups to Fallen being as much like Evanescence IMO which is why I don't like them as much. I kind of enjoyed the We Are The Fallen album to both The Open Door and Evanescence S/T album personally and thought if you are going to replace Amy then Carly was a perfect choice. The thing is Amy is an amazing singer but I just thing the materials lacking now.

Saw Evanescence on Thursday night. Totally brilliant concert! Amy Lee is amazing Well the whole band is Amongst many other songs, they did: What you Want, Going Under, Lost In Paradise, My Heart Is Broken, Sweet Sacrifice, Call Me When You're Sober and My Immortal.
