I like Linkin Park! They had great energy and sound just like they do on their albums live! Out of all the rap rock crap that came out they sounded the most like a legit rock band and not a joke frat boy band like Limp Bizkit! The new single is good and almost sounds like a return to earlier Linkin Park rather than the experimental diverse material of "A Thousand Suns". I liked Chesters collaboration with Chris Cornell:

Hunger Strike

^ Oh thanks for posting that, never saw it before. I also like the new LP, though I prefer the old Nu Metal LP style. The new single sure sounds better than anything on A Thousand Suns so it makes me curious to see how this new album will sound like.

I always liked these songs:

I used to really like Linkin Park, but after i turned about 13 or so I kind of shied away from mainstream auto tune rock bands, that's about time i turned to grunge and 80s pop/punk.
I have a huge respect for Mike Shinoda, one of the few hip hop songs i can get down to on a deep level is from his side project Fort Minor - Remember the name. Bennington is the face of modern sell-out for me, and that's not from a hipster PoV. Definite talent, just no longer my cup of joe :)

Snap! Say what you want about these guys. I dig 'em and I am liking the new album so far!

These guys are always true to form. You always know what you're getting with them but they usually add something a little different to each of their albums.

They were my favorite band... when I was 12. With that being said I still enjoy their first two albums. Meteora was their best and always will be. MTM and ATS were trash. This new one is okay.

I listened to the new album just now! It was a cool mix of different sounds! I think old fans will be happy as they brought back more of their rap rock flavor and mixed it with a more ambient electronica vibe! I love this track! It sounds like nothing else Linkin Park has done! The vocal tone here was so different and the harmonizing was awesome!

Roads Untraveled

Also I like the heavier electronica tracks:

Lies, Greed, Misery

Victimized

I think I've just been convinced to make a new purchase! :cheers2
