Wish I could add something Garrett.. The only thing would be he lived up the street from where I live when he died.. Never saw him out in about.. I had a girlfriend who worked over in Japan and she got the chance to meet him and take a picture with him..
Bo was all over the radio, jukeboxes and TV when I was a kid, my older cousins had his albums, so I always thought he was cool because they did! I always wondered who ended up get those wonderful guitars!

Bo Diddley is a legend, he wrote some killer tunes that are just timeless. I don't know how he managed to play that guitar though his fingers were massive. 
I tried to learn his strumming rhyme "Shave and a hair cut two cents".
