A band I like that was not mainstream (not in Ohio anyway). They are from L.A. and had some songs featured in Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure, which is how I discovered them.

Ok, now I'm on a roll ... Tigertailz I remember seeing in the old Kerrang! magazines that I have. Tonight is the first time I've actually listened to any of their stuff! :heheh:

Roxx Gang are/were literally down the road from me. I'm not too crazy about their 1988 album, Things You've Never Done Before. Maybe someone else can cover that. What I want to share is from their 1996 album, Voodoo You Love. Yes ... 1996 but going by the videos from it they fit in with the 80's hair metal band thing. Stacey Blades, the current guitarist in L.A. Guns :heheh: was in the band at the time. He has a co-writing credit on Time Bomb.

Roxx Gang - Time Bomb

Roxx Gang - Hot For Love

^^^ My buddy from Cal turned me onto Vanderberg last year. First off.. He was in Whitesnake, but correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he like from 1990 to the present??

Their two biggest albums were released in 1982 and 83. Vandenberg co-wrote most of the songs on Slip Of The Tongue, but had a wrist injury so Steve Vai replaced him on the Whitesnake tour

Saraya

Female fronted band from New Jersey who put out 2 albums then called it quits. Their S/T debut album is decent. ;)
