Well we had Styx, Foreigner, Journey and Night Ranger so I have no complaints and there`s not many bands left I want to see but would still like to see Kansas and Survivor.
Do you get to see Neighbours and Home And Away before us!

Great, great band. I loved them before I even knew it.
When I was really young I lived in central Illinois, & there was a rock station my grandpa would always put on called 'Lite Rock 97.5'. They would play great bands all the time, bands that over a decade later would shape my musical tastes, like Manfred Mann, Journey, Styx, Yes, & Kansas. They played Carry On My Wayward Son, Dust In TheWwind, & Point Of Know Return (my personal favorite) all the time & I loved it, though I had no clue what it was called.
The keyboard & violin section of that song lingered in the dark corners of my mind for years & years, popping up at random intervals to frustrate me with trying to find it's identity. Then, of all people, my mother was the one to point me in the right direction. Then I found out all these great songs are by the same band, & I've been a giant fan ever since.
Favorite album is definitely Point Of Know Return. Don't understand how some have insinuated that it isn't Progressive. Sure, it's a little bit more streamlined than Leftoverture, but it's no Power Windows. In my opinion it's one of the best integrations of Prog with more traditional Rock I've heard.
I love the 70's stuff , have them all on CD and vinyl, but can't say I care for anything they have released since. The 80's killed them, IMO. Though they are still damn good live.
Robbie rejoined for several years (97-06), but is once again out of the band.
My favorite group of songs is what I call the "Elemental Trilogy" - Lightning's Hand (Robby vox), Dust In The Wind (Steve vox) & Sparks Of The Tempest (Robby vox).
There's also Native Window, featuring Phil Ehart, Rich Williams, Billy Greer, and David Ragsdale and Proto-Kaw, featuring Kerry & members of the Kansas II line-up.
1974 Kansas
1975 Song for America
1975 Masque
1976 Leftoverture
1977 Point of Know Return
As a result of LGs latest binge ive been sorting through my hard drive and found that ive these.Ive got POKR on my ipod now
I go on binges once in a while, play a band's entire discog(or what I have of it) from the beginning to the end in chronological order. Kind of set in my ways but it's like taking a trip, makes more sense to start at the beginning and work my way to the final destination.
