Lindsey had an odd picking style, whether playing rythym or solos.

No pic. All fingers almost banjo like. :grinthumb

I haven't been too trusting of bargain bins here as there tends to be a reason here for cheap prices, the music in them here tends to be stuff I wouldn't pay 5 cents for. lol
But this time was a wise return, I find some classic stuff in there. I will pick up some more Fleetwood Mac next chance too, I am really loving their music. :)

Seeing Stevie on the boob tube last week prompted me to revisit my old Fleetwood Mac obsession, and after listening to a lot of their stuff in the past few days I've begun to realize why they drew me in in the first place. These guys play well off of each other, and as Magic mentioned the ladies give them more dimension and pop appeal. While the original lineup is pretty big with the members here the later additions in my opinion are what really made the band as huge as it is today so that grouping will always be my favorite. I first got into these guys when I was about 10 or 11 from one of my babysitters who played them nonstop, and also when I first saw Stevie on VH1's Divas. She was such an ethereal beauty there's no doubt her appeal alone helped the band along in their success. I actually came to appreciate "The Dance" before any of their studio material, and "The Chain" is hands down my favorite FM tune as evidenced by my profile video. :D

Has the live version of "Big Love" from The Dance been mentioned yet? It's absolutely killer!

I've put my Best Of Fleetwood Mac CDs onto one Mp3 CD which has resulted in my player playing all the songs Alphabetically (so the songs are jumbled up from their original track numbers). I simply got to the end of that first CD when I got down to the local music shop to do some shopping there, and what do you think they were playing? 8o I had to listen to what I only just played in the car and by the time I left they were up to the end of that last track from that 1st CD. That's just Bizarre though! 8o

^^I believe the word is "Kismet" to describe that coincidence CP/M.:D

I am ordering a brand new audiophile vinyl pressing of my favorite FM record next week. Can't wait to spin it again, one of the best sounding albums ever made.

^^^ The Green God Nolo with Jeremy and later Danny over a rock solid McVie and Fleetwood ... For me it doesn't get much better. Awesome.
