No, I'm not selling my old vinyl, I'm just storing it away. As I look at my vinyl I realize that most of what I have are reissues. I'm starting clean, I'm starting my collection over again.

Now so far I have,

Frank Zappa -- Hot Rats (Bizarre RS6356)
Allman Brothers Band -- Eat a Peach (Capricorn 2CP 0102)
Black Sabbath -- s/t (Warner Bros. WS 1871 green label)
Jethro Tull -- This Was (Reprise RS 6336 us pressing)

I have a copy of Uriah Heep's Demons & Wizards coming in the mail. I prefer to buy vinyl through the mail for two reasons,

1. It is more conveniant, there are no record stores in the neighbourhood
2. It is easier to find what you're looking for

Well, I'll keep ya'll updated... :****:

I wish you Good Hunting Mr. Camel...I've picked up about 30 vinyl albums the last few weeks myself, about 20 or so to go for my "Must Haves".:D

Excellent selections. Bravo. It has been many years since I heard This Was on vinyl. It is one of my favorite albums anyone has ever done.

So I have bad news and good news!

Bad news, I will not be receiving Demons & Wizards.

Good news, I aquired two more albums and I'm still waiting for the other Heep album to be delivered.

I've aquired recently,

Deep Purple -- Machine Head (Warner Bros. BS 2607 green label with insert)
Jethro Tull -- Minstrel in the Gallery (Chrysalis CHR 1082)

:)

What do you mean by 'new'...

All the vinyl I get is used, I don't mind if they're in mint condition as long as the seams are somewhat intact, no tape, and no writing on the cover.

I get my vinyl from,

amazon.com
ebay.com
musicstack.com

Yes I meant New releases, I buy used as well but would love some audiophile pressings of a few Jethro Tull albums.
