Well, you can probably guess what I think!!

For me, broadcasting out of Wiltshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, hands down the best 24/7 online 'classic rock' radio is...

It's interesting to hear what their playing in Los Angeles, Acca Dacca, ZZ Top, but then they also play Supertramp, Paul McCartney - Let 'Em In and earlier they were playing what sounded like a really old Muddy Waters song - Mannish Boy which I've never heard before, but interesting to hear! :)

100.3 TheSound is pretty much like that all day every day, if you check out their playlists on the website it's just like the 25,000 greatest classic rock tracks ever, appearing at random, they also do special vinyl shows where they play the whole of an old classic LP track-by-track uninterrupted, and other features....just in the last couple of hours they've played Chicago, Bad Company, The Zombies, Supertramp, Neil Young, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Janis Joplin, Kansas, Van Halen, Skynyrd, Beatles, Foreigner, Stones, War, J Geils Band, Ozzy, Clapton, Billy Joel and AC/DC!! I mean who needs a record collection when you've got 100.3fm!!

I once went to their studios with a friend who works in broadcasting in LA, the studios are like 15 stories up on a building on Wiltshire Boulevard, and I met Larry and Andy (two of the deejays) and we hung around for an hour or so whilst Andy was broadcasting... looking out from the window towards the Hollywood hills listening to The Eagles and The Doors etc whilst drinking coffee, it wasn't a bad hour!

I listen to radio a lot, always have done, and since getting a digital radio I can tune into several different rock channels that weren't available to me before. Two favourites are Kerrang! Radio - 105.2 FM, Freeview & DAB, who play a mix of classic and new stuff & Planet Rock - Where Rock Lives on DAB Digital Radio, Sky 0110, Virgin Media 924 and Freesat 730, who focus mainly on classic rock but do throw in new bands now and again and have a few hours dedicated to new rock Saturday nights. I also like Planet Rock's week-day 'Anorak Quiz' where listeners can ring in and try and answer as many rock questions as possible in 60 seconds.
I've been introduced to several new bands and bands I would probably not have thought to listen to if I hadn't heard one of their songs on the radio that caught my interest.

Yeah their not bad, I've been listening to them again today and even now (Saturday Night their time). Have heard a couple of Beatles songs - 8 Days a Week & While My Guitar Gently Weeps playing now, Bad Company, Janis Joplin - Me and Bobby McGee, The Cars, Billy Idol playing now, Dire Straits - Money for Nothing - I was a bit disappointed with this cause they didn't play the full 8 minute song and it was cut near the beginning. Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive was also on earlier. Some of the songs is a bit too hard edge for my liking, but I'll listen to the beats - at least their's no rapping going on! :D

Sounds great! :D When I was listening to them last night our time, they seemed to be playing more of the songs and a little advert after some of the songs, today they had some Lady on doing some of the talk, but compared to some of the FM Stations they have here - all they seem to do most of the time is talk, especally during them breakfast shows in the mornings! :x

^^That's Almost enough to get me beyond curious Shadow...but not quite.;)

But the wanton destruction of the small local radio stations across the US and here to a lesser extent has changed the landscape of radio forever...and one thing that amazed everyone was how the FTC,,,not sure if that's right...but the body governing the airwaves/radio stations, allowing monopolies to take over in a very short time. I gather they had so much political muscle there was no stopping it. (Muscle = Lobbying/Bribing/Owning politicians to do their bidding.)

Theme Time Radio Hour with Bob Dylan is great stuff.

As a song of Interest I just heard on ABC Dig Music here was Yellow Bird by Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes on their Baby Caught The Bus album from 2011.

When I heard this song it doesn't sound like the sort of song that might have been around for a while, sounds like there are earlier influences at work on this song, though has a heavier sound to it perhaps. I thought it was quite interesting.

As far as internet radio goes I've only used Pandora, which lets you skip through songs but there is a limit. Sooty has recommended Spotify which he says allows you to listen to entire albums and gives you more choice. I don't know if I'd want to pay for any radio stations.

Spotify is terrific. I'm on there a lot. It doesn't limit your skips like Pandora, there is more music, the artists are better played, it's easier to learn about new music. I could go on and on. I just wish it were more social like Last.fm is.
