That would be nice. I just purchased some Peter Green Splinter Group songs online last night.

It was. You posted this:Fantastic blues guitarist. Released his first album in 1995 at the age of 17. He was self taught, but has played with the heavy itters in blues such as Bryan Lee and B. B. King.
My favorite release so far from KWS is his second album "trouble is" which was released in 1997.
this past April, and I checked out his music on youtube and ordered a couple of his CD's.

You can't go too far wrong buying a greatest hits compilation from perhaps the most mainline Chicago blues artist out there these days:

I'm just now seriously getting into the blues. So from my neophyte point of view, it all depends on what sort of music you like listening to. Me, I think the sub-genre that I like is called electric blues? I've gotta have a good beat, some cool blues guitar, and some passionate singing.

The most obvious one is BB King. I've always liked what I heard, but just recently got a greatest hits compilation. Same goes for Buddy Guy. I think these are the best introductions because you can get a sampling of the slower stuff and the higher energy pieces.
