^^^ It's kinda like you can take the man out of the Floyd, but you can't take the Floyd out of the man. His sound and style is so unique to him that it pervades everything he does. Castellorizon hearkens back to the good old days of the Floyd and certainly has "echoes" of Marooned from the Division Bell.

If you like On An Island I'd reccommend his first solo album, but I'd also steer clear of About Face unless you like to hear a legendary guitarist crushed under the weight of 80's pop.

I have all three Immersion Box Sets, they are worth the money. Wow.....

As for me, Gilmour is tops behind Hendrix. But Gilmour makes it look so damn easy.

I bought the Dark Side and Wish You Were Here Immersion sets. I s the Wall Immersion set worth it? Seems like a rehashing of what I already own.

Guthrie was able to clean up ITAOT? even further than the initial rushed release in 2000. Not to mention the true cleaning up on the studio album. I will be getting the Discovery box set in the near future and then passing on some of my originals to friends.

It was worth the money in my opinion.

Been awhile since I even listened to prog music. Gonna break from the heavy music and dive back into the likes of Meddle, Wish You Were Here.

That's ridiculous, there's no way can he be 66, I'm shocked at how all these old greats are coming to old age together. Love that 'Marooned' track there, from my #1 favourite Floyd album The Division Bell.
