Yup this is my first time to EVER play the Whisky! I'm very excited. I have SOOO many DVD's, books, videos that have the Whisky in it. Let alone bands like Zeppelin, Floyd and The Doors all played there.
It's where they held the Sabbath press conference for this last reunion too, right?

It is, MP. I distinctly remember reading that. Impressive venue! Zep did frequent it a lot back in the day. Pamela des Barres made an "I'm With the Band" rock doc last year based off of her book and interviewed Lori Maddox there as that's where they had a lot of wild and crazy times back in the day.

Not to mention, Motley Crue, GnR and Metallica and a number of other well known 80's hard rock acts. IN fact, if memory serves me correctly, Cliff Burton was playing with whatever band he was in (pre-Metallica) at the Whiskey when James and Lars first saw him and immediately recruited him.
