Definitely a first appearance by The Open Mind here in this thread, Heed.
Really cool Heavy Psych with flashes of proto. The section starting at about the 1:50 mark that carries on to about 2:00 was very interesting, as well as the drumming outro . Nice post, gonna have to check this band out. :grinthumb

Pleased you like it, Wolf! It's a great song that - the lyrics aren't the best, but kind of add to its charms.

I discovered them via the Rubble compilation, which has a few good tunes on by bands I can't even remember!

Raunchy funky, hard rockin with some punky 'tude and good guitar,US hard rockers Zipper, were formed in 1973 by ex-Weeds frontman Fred Cole.
They, as per usual with bands in this thread on so many occasions, parted ways after only pressing one LP. The Self Titled debut was released in 1974. Cool hard rockin' and just unusual enough to get my interest. This CD has been reissued as of 2003 ,,,
