Protest the Hero is a Canadian progressive metal band from Whitby, Ontario.

I have never heard a band as talented as these guys. EVER.

Really impressive music. It always amazes me when bands play music like that, amazing skills. maybe they use too many riifs/passages in one song. The singer has a terrific voice. Maybe a bit too much emotions. In danger of overdoing it. They remind me a tiny bit of Pain Of Salvation.

This thread is in terrible need of an update. What an amazing band. Saw Protest a few days ago. I had an amazing time and got some pics with Arif and Luke. Fantastic night. Too bad the venue didn't pay them their guarantee.

Really great band. I am just discovering these guys through a favourite youtube channel. I love the sound to these guys. Very much leaning to the progressive side of metal with great heaviness to them too.

Great band and finally got around to getting an album of theirs. Fortress which I did highly enjoy.
