Kind of a cool tune...it's heavy and hooky as well. You know it's hard to out a finger on Metallica today. It's like they threw in the REAL metal towel and changed their sound to a more street.....gangsta type metal. :heheh:

WORD. I dunno....

New album next year, I won't be holding my breath, it is not a matter of hoping it is great, I am just hoping it doesn't suck.

Now this is a good tune that definitely should have made the album.

Metallica today is Metallica today. Can't hold a candle to their old stuff. IMO, all you can hope for is a good live show. As far as albums go, I've pretty much given up on them.

saw videos of them playing with mustaine and mcgovney. was pretty ****ing cool i think. only shitty thing that I can gather from it was mustaines guitar not being loud enough in the mix so when he went into solos you couldnt really hear him too well over the rhythm.

Always nice to see! Let's try that on CD...they're sure to make a killer album together. If there was EVER a time for Mustaine, Hetfield and Ulrich to re-unite, LuLu is the 2011 release that is a good reason to do just that.

Apparently they recently did an EP called Beyond Magnetic, some b sides that never made the cut.
Some of the songs I heard and thought they should have made the album.

I still haven't checked out any of the B-side material from DM yet. Will have to do so soon.
