Saw two of those tours...Almost saw a third but had to work.

Taylor's was the best. She's in her prime, playing her best material when it's still new and hungry. Felt like seeing Petty in 1980 or Floyd in 1977.

Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue, easily.

Zimmy at his peak.

DOC, that is my favorite version of ''Shelter From The Storm'' and one of my favorite Bob tunes, easily.

As you may know, but others might not -- that exact version can be found on the live album, ''A Hard Rain'' - one my favorite live albums ever.

:cheers2

Hard Rain is PHENOMENAL. So much blood and vitriol. You can hear in every note that the man was going through some stuff...and he had stopped caring about any of it.

If you haven't heard it, you might want to check this release out:

It's far and away my favorite Dylan live album. I think that you'd appreciate it, Groovy. :cheers2

Bon Jovi
Katy Perry
Taylor Swift

Just re-posting Jersey's Original 2012 list even though I agree with Groovy 1975's choices are far better.;)

I wouldn't be too interested in any of them. BJ was a lot of fun back in the day, but now, I wouldn't be too pressed to see them, especially without Sambora on guitar (he ~is~ still in rehab, or isn't he?)

The other 4? Meh. Taylor Swift has a great voice, but I'm just not into her stuff. I could be coaxed into going to see her, maybe.

U2, Katy Perry and Usher? Ish. You couldn't pay me to go to any of these concerts. Well, I take that back, you could pay me money and you'd have to buy my ticket, booze, food and transportation for the night. Then I might go, but otherwise, no way... no how.

So, I guess Bon Jovi would win by default for me.

I saw Bon Jovi a couple of years ago and they were pretty good. Huge sold out crowd. And yeah, I think Richie is back.
