First let me say, We love you Micheal, Rest in Peace!

MJ was never convicted of any crimes against children. Has it ever crossed anyones mind that those accusations were monetary gain influenced?

Second, No one knows what pain MJ had, whether it be mental pain or physical, the man had issues. Being famous and rich doesn't solve anything, infact, it created his pain. He couldn't live even a semi normal life. He had no privacy. He was self destructive.

But I think we need to dwell on his achievements and his talents. He was a very giving man, he gave back to society. He created a Burns foundation and Burns hospital, he organized the "we are the world" campaign, he did wonders for the homeless, and he loved children. He had numerous charities he was part of.

He had numerous patents, too. From shoes to clothing. He was physically involved in all aspects of his career. He wrote his own music, choreographed his own dances.........he truly loved his fans.

You can hate on him if it makes you feel better, but the fact remains, he did alot for people, even people who hated him.

I agree with the most of what you said. There were too many people using Michael for monetary gain and fame. It's true those who made claims against him for the most part had lots to gain. I think more than likely though there were things going on that would not be appropriate at least by most peoples standards. I do think though that the media made it seem much worse than it was. Even after his death so many used Michaels death for their own purposes. I heard Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson were racing to be in California first. It makes one wonder if they were so concerned about Michael after his death why couldn't they have been concerned before.

I was blown away when I heard that MJ died and I will remember him for his great music and as far as Kurt Cobain goes IMHO he was nothing special and certainly not an icon in any way shape or form.

The true MJ icon was blown away after he went solo from the Jackson 5:****:

For me,Michael Jackson,I'm sorry to say but,was a very sick man :-/
His dance figures were great,he was a great dancer.
But i didn't like his human side. All these plastic surgeries ruined his respect from some people.I mean,he had like 11 noses in a shelter or something.
I'm not happy he died though, because he was trully a pop legend.

I have to agree with you. He had so much talent but he somewhere lost his moral compass and his grip on reality. Personally I will not miss him. He got so bizarre and all the news coverage on him was some new bizarre thing he did.

At Least MJ was good for a good joke or two.

Q: How does Michael Jackson pick his nose?
A: From a catalogue.

I heard with MJ dying and with all his plastic surgery they are going to melt him down and make him into lego blocks. That way kids can play with him for a change.
