Just wanted to share this new video by Billy Sherwood.
This particular album has been out a couple of years but he's been really into making videos lately so he's doing some back catalogue.
It's one of my favorites. The song was inspired by the story of General Patton's belief that he was reincarnated multiple times but always as a man of war. There is a poem written by General Patton regarding this called "Through the glass, darkly".

Oh, and headphones are recommended as with most of Billy's stuff..... the musical journey is greatly enhanced. :)
"The Setting Sun" from the cd "Oneirology"

He's been doing so much these days. IMO, his talents are much better judged on his stuff outside of YES.
Do you know about CIRCA:? His band with Tony Kaye on keyboard/Hammond. They have a new album out and starting to announce some tour dates.
Check out their youtube page; lots of stuff on there to watch. CircaHQ's Channel - YouTube

Gabriel is one of my faves. :)

BTW, love your Zappa pic! I'm especially relating to "Call Any Vegetable" lately as I've recently become a vegetarian and often feeling persecuted because of it. :heheh:

Have you heard Dweezil's rendition on Zappa Plays Zappa? It's great.

I've only recently been turned on to Billy Sherwood by Scott who pointed me in Ember's direction. :D I'm digging most of his stuff (hey, being honest, lol!) :D

Some of my other favorite Billy works is that of World Trade which was before YES (and before 9/11 as well).

Ember, that link wasn't working - I hope this is the song you were referring to! This is powerful, as is Billy's voice, and his feelings.

(I commented on it at YT...as per your quoted words,above....)
