The FULL version of Friends of Mr Cairo, over the years I've become quite a pal of his listening
to this over and over. I hope an exception can be made since I'm 1 second off of exceeding
 Fave part is 3:36- 4:30, such a spanking way to make a transition.

Bob Dylan - Desolation Row

You've made it through eight tracks and are trying hard to figure out what exactly Bob Dylan is trying to tell you about graveyard women and one-eyed midgets. Then he rips into the marathon-length Desolation Row with no electric guitar to drown out the lyrics, and by the time he brings up Einstein disguised as Robin Hood, you realize he's just flaunting how impenetrable he can be. Not quite as cocky as Blonde on Blonde, but much more cryptic. Desolation Row is about the best closing track to a stylistically cohesive album that there is.

Considering everything you can find on You Tube these days I was sort of surprised I couldn't even find just an audio of this track!

I remember the first time I listened to it ... but that's another story!

Except for a two and a half minute track at the beginning the song takes up the entire second side of the record! (when listening to the vinyl version ;))
