Re: Foo Fighters

I don't know much about them other than Dave Grohl is the driving force of the band. I guess better late than never.

I do have to ask Why On Earth would you pick a name like "Foo Fighters"?...:dunno:

Dave Grohl is the driving force but, Taylor Hawking is an exceptional drummer

Re: Foo Fighters

Everlomg is a beautiful song. I prefer the acoustic version. The guitar riff in the bridge i amazing.

Re: Foo Fighters

You know in some ways my love for the Foos has surpassed Nirvana. I don't like very album as a whole but their songwriting is very solid and some of their songs just get you belting out their shit. Dave really writes some aggressive, addicting pop rock (Yeah, I said it! :D)! Their albums like "The Colour and the Shape" and "Wasting Light" are perfect! :cheers2 I've just officially completed my Foos catalog (outside the Greatest Hits Comp.) with this one:

Skin and Bones

Hearing these songs acoustically just emphasizes what a good vocalist Grohl actually is. He knows his range which helps but he has a fair range anyway on top of that. He can belt out plenty but can also have a very soothing tone to his voice! :grinthumb

Absolutely loving this album and having an extremely hard time putting it down. As of right now...my favorite tracks are:

1. These Days
2. Walk
3. Rope
4. Back and Forth
5. I should have known
