The rarest one I bought today is Groundhogs - Split with an alternate cover.

I don't know what the price might be, but seems to be quite different.

Almost forgot. I own two Miami Sound Machine albums that were both released in the early 80's and the songs are sung in spanish:

Probably a Beatles second state 'butcher album' in mono. I also own four other peeled copies, one being in stereo.

I have all the Beatles American albums, from "Introducing the Beatles" on Vee-Jay, through "20 Greatest Hits" from '84. This includes a stereo "Butcher Cover" version of "Yesterday and Today". All are in near mint condition. A cousin gave me all her 60s albums when she got married and moved out of state. Among the stuff she left behind in my uncle's garage was two big boxes of Beatles stuff (albums, singles, magazines, posters, etc.). My uncle was just going to throw it all out when she suggested giving the stuff to me. I was 11 at the time and already a huge Beatles fan. I got all the 70s and 80s stuff myself (with the kind help of my parents, of course).

I start collecting vinlys 10 months ago so I haven't collected many rare stuff, and I know this isn't rare but it took me a while to buy some of these here in Croatia (where amount of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane LPs are equal to zero) :

Probably everyone have this one, but however, I'm glad I can spin it on my turntable

Also this one. This is original artwork for Relics, on CDs are ones with blue background and sculpture

Those are nice DZ, you have plenty of time to catch up. A trip to Amsterdam and a legendary Record Shop there would be just what the doctor ordered.:D

Who knows, perhaps in a few years another vinyl resurgence will take place, the only problem would be the Master Tapes/Mother's/Stampers still being in good condition.

I collect mostly 45's these days. This might not be the rarest record I own but it's certainly the most notorious. Found in a junk shop this past January for 50 cents.
