Yes, others have mentioned DD but I have all their CDs and nothing of their's is quite this loud and intense. They just don't jam as hard as this does. This is like DD on steriods.

It sound like the Dixie Dregs to me too! reminds me of Patchwork from "Night Of The Living Dregs".

I finally figured out who this is after searching off and on for years. I installed two new song ID apps on my phone tonight, and Shazam recognized the artist and song. It is Lenny White - 12 Bars From Mars (1978).

Wow thats a blatant rip off of the Dregs. Morse used a similar riff for the opening of Deep Purple's House of Pain.
