00-10s. Because I'm more into indie rock and indie folk stuff and I like the newer stuff better on those genres. Like The Strokes, Interpol, Noah And The Whale, The Vaccines, etc (Yes The Strokes and Interpol aren't exactly indie but you get what I'm saying).

I also listen to a lot of 80s stuff but not really as much.

I'd basically listen to any band that has well written lyrics. Lyrics that are relatable and that come from the soul.

Feel free to suggest some classics that are that way :) as I'm not too big on classics because I'm lazy to look for them haha

Majority is 90's - 2000's
But a fair portion is also 50's - 80's

The only way that I could figure this out is to count the amount of albums for each decade that I have in my iTune's library, which goes like this:

40's - 5
50's - 2
60's - 66
70's - 98
80's - 25
90's - 22
00's - 41
10's - 6

It's worth noting that I have a lot of blues, folk, country, old rock 'n roll, and classical collections that were put together and released in different decades than they were recorded...So, if I actually categorized them by recording date the numbers for the 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's would increase a bit. This would also decrease the numbers for the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 00's. The 70's would likely still win, though.

I picked 80'a because that is probably what I listen to the most, but I do listen to some 70's and also 90's and on. I guess the only decade I really never listen to is the 50's. I guess I should have picked 'mixed'.:heheh:

No, if you listen to the 80's the most, then that's what you should pick. Just my opinion, but the ONLY reason I could see someone picking 'mixed' is if they truly listen to multiple decades equally

Mostly 60s & 70s, lately even some new stoner/neopsychedelic bands, but all in all 60s decade. Long live the 60s.

Though it's really a mix of decades, the 90s is by far my favourite decade when it comes to music. Most albums in my collection are probably from the 90s.
