Gram Parsons was mentioned a lot in I'm With the Band by Pamela des Barres. He was in The Flying Burrito Brothers. They're country rock.

^^^^ Hmmmmm. I thought maybe you'd know them Tray, seeing that you're from the UK. I thought that they'd be big there but I guess not. One of my friends on Tumblr is a big Horrors fanatic. My curiosity led me into checking out their stuff on You Tube. Great band. Their style is very reminiscent of the british new wave/goth movement of the 1980s mixed with some garage rock of the 60s. Somebody described them as a cross between Joy Division and The Misfits, which I'd say is a pretty accurate description.
I think Faris looks like a cross between Julian Casablancas and Adrian Brody. To me he's very beautiful in the non-conventional way.

Plus I have a tendency to be attracted to men with schnozes on the larger side.
