I'm going to say Axl Rose
Appetite for Destruction and
G N' R Lies to my favorite albums from the 80s

I'm skeptical of the criteria for an 80's metal singer in this poll because when I think 80's I don't think Chris Cornell and when I think metal I certainly don't think of Steve Perry.

I voted for Axl Rose regardless though.

Bruce Dickinson. His vocal metal debut "Number of the Beast" remains one of the best albums to this date.

Brian Johnson is not a metal singer tbh.
I went Halford, most of the 80s albums of Priest were terrific.

I just don't think you can put Ronnie, Bruce and Rob in the same poll. They are all in a class by themselves. The next class, and all so close could include the likes of Biff, Klause, Coverdale and a couple more....

Toss up between Bruce and Rob and I have voted for Bruce in the past when he's gone up against Rob, and maybe it was just the mood.

Tonight is no different as I'm taking Rob Halford. Dickinson has sooo much character and strength, but really looking at it with all these other greats, Rob just has a feeling that sends shivers down the spine.
