that's pretty sad. me, I have almost nothing nice to say about the Asylum Records days but DF had a rep for helping people on their way up. he always seemed like somebody who would have been doing what he was doing even if he wasn't getting paid to do it. RIP, Fogel-dude.

no doubt about it, I'm getting old!

Dan's songs always had great lyrics. The Leader of the Band was such a touching song. I always enjoy tribute songs and relfective songs so that one was a good fit for me. RIP Dan.

That is so sad and you claim to be a man of God. The gates of hell await you brother.

If that's how you feel, then I'm quite sure I'll meet you there. I tell you what...you bring a refrigerator and some good food and cold drinks, and I'll bring an air conditioner, a stereo, and a lot of good CDs.

Alright Mr. Jay Jay. You just sent me a private message that you would not allow me to respond to, accusing me of "praying to the Beatles". You told me all sorts of stuff bragging about your mission trips and whatever, and without asking me anything about my personal life, you just start preaching me into hell.

You don't even know me. You don't know what I do for a living (Just to let you know, I pastor a rural church in the hills of Tennessee and I preach the gospel to those folks every Sunday, visit their sick, doing youth ministry through summer camp programs, etc.) You don't know who I pray to (I pray to God in Jesus' name just as you claim to do). And you have the nerve to get on this music forum and go all over me just because I choose not to be a fanatic and I try to meet people where they are and show that I have something in common with them.

You assume I'm lost and you've never met me, you've never watched me go through a single day of my life, you have no clue how I live my life. You have no clue how much I love Jesus (with all my heart, I can assure you). As I said before, you don't even know me, and here you are condemning me as evil, lost, and headed for hell. How dare you? All you're doing is passing judgment on me--precisely what Jesus commands his followers not to do.

What stupidity.
