Re: Daily, Nightly and Ever So Rightly II *Chat Thread*

It's tough to do, I totally understand. I always managed to somehow burn my forehead even if I were looking at a reflection while straightening.

Just takes some time to get the hang of it, i'm sure you'll get it.

Possibly I can make it if I had like proper clips, without them I will fail all the time I suppose.

^It was just something I knew I needed to do, and I had actually truly thrown away my last pack of smokes when LiL told me that I needed to lay off of them and that she wished I wouldn't smoke. When a best friend tells you that, it's pretty much a good sign to do so. So I thank her for that.

She sounds like a really good best friend! :D I wish I had that sort of influence over my own father! He's been smoking for the past 10 years, but he never smoked when I was a kid! And I remember when I saw him smoke the first time with other men smoking, I collapsed on the ground crying.

It's quite unusual for someone to take up smoking later in life. Maybe he was stressed.

It's more the fact that I knew deep down that I had to quit, but that extra push really helped. Nobody else (except for her) really said much until I quit. They were like "oh, I never knew you smoked", or "you shouldnt stop, its not that bad"

I'm happy I quit, it was just not something I need to put my body through.

I remember seeing my dad smoke as well. It's not the best thing to see. Especially when you find that your dad also smokes marijuana and drinks heavily.

Well he is a Alcoholic too and when he was in a recovery place (I can't remember what they are called) I think he just started smoking because maybe he was bored! or because other people were doing it too.

I have to say I have also seen my Dad smoke the old Mary Jane :omg: It's not like he is some kind of junkie I hasten to add and it is always when his old band mates are around.

It's scary when you see your own parents do it!
