Great album,I prefer this
Released in 1997, it was the first strong album that he had released since 1976's "Desire." One of the top 5 best albums of his career, in my never humble opinion.
Santana made a huge comeback with Supernatural......
I just learned yesterday that apparently "Smooth" is the biggest hit in the history of the Billboard charts.
One of the radio hits that got on my nerves like no other. Might not be as bad if I heard it now since I don't listen to radio anymore but it's ruined for me forever now. Also, I get that Santana is a great guitar player but I think it's hypocritical that he didn't get the sellout card like every other artist when that album was as much of gimmick album as anything. Get all the current music star power you can get and get Santana to do a bunch of random guitar licks he could probably do in his sleep. O.K. I'm done!
