The Who, 1989, Folsom Field, Boulder Colorado. My ears hissed for three days after that, and it was an outdoor arena too.

Grand Funk 1970 or '71. People were fleeing into the lobby, shrieking with blood flowing from their ears. They should have been indicted. Worst show I've ever seen.

I never saw Grand Funk live but had friends that did and they always mentioned how freakin loud they were....for me personally its a toss up between Deep Purple and Ted Nugent, maybe because of where I was seated, they without a doubt made a contribution to my tinnitus.

Ratt and Roll. Ears rang for 3 days. Did get a full body masage(sp?).
After that show I started to wear ear plugs to shows.
One time at a Yes show I took the ear plugs out for all good people and had to put them back in because with the ear plugs out all I could hear was the croud screaming.

Ted Nugent at the now non-existent Armadillo World HQ's in Austin Tx 1975, or Black Sabbath at what was the "Dome" in Va. Beach in 1971.

The Who were freaking loud ,even in 1989-BC Place-Vancouver..
recently, Brian May's guitar solo was hellishly loud last year live at the PNE Coliseum.

I went to both Pink Floyd Division Bell shows here at the (now closed) Pontiac Silverdome. These were by far the loudest shows I have ever been to. My ears hurt for 5 days afterwards.
The 2nd show was when they played "DSotM" live in it's entirety, since 1975.
