I have the first four Bloodrock albums and I don't think Nitzinger was ever actually a member of the band, just the songwriter and perhaps producer.

You are right. I looked up Bloodrocks bio and copied this:

By the advent of the 1973 album USA, Texan guitarist John Nitzinger had begun to write songs for the group, without ever joining them on a full-time basis.

- ->Edgar Winter Group (the only one i am "iffy" on this, OK, where is Edgar ?)

Wishbone Ash is now almost completely forgotten esp. here in the U.S.

I'm listening right now to "Time Was" from their album, Argus.

Wishbone Ash is now almost completely forgotten esp. here in the U.S.

I'm listening right now to "Time Was" from their album, Argus.

This was one outstanding album by one outstanding group!!!!!!!
I haven't listened to them in quite a while. I am going to have to remedy that tonight!
