Good point. I don't know why "David Brooks", went bockers on this. The music Jimmy Hendrix; sounded great, and was very tight and solid.

How many people can play the "Star Spangled Banner", on an electric guitar and make it work. Very very very few.

It was 1965, Jimmy Hendrix was young. He was 22,or 23 years old. Of course he was an impressionable musician. The music world was changing fast, and deep inside he knew he would be a major part of it. His skills were of course obvious to him.
