That chump, Casey Abrams, is awesome! His Nirvana performance was a misstep but did you see his Joe Cocker and Ray Charles! ****ing perfect!

I agree Sooty. Casey is excellent and while I like that he was bold enough to play a Nirvana song on American Idol he doesn't have the right voice for it at all.

Nirvana is one of the greatest bands of the 90's, if not of all-time, Kurt helped bring grunge into mainstream and I think we at least owe him that. Even if you don't think they're the best grunge band, they're probably the reason you even heard of grunge.

RIP Kurt you were the best.

I thought the performance was awful and his "bold" move didn't pay off. I had to change the channel.

To be honest, the only Idol contestant I'm even remotely feeling this season is Stefano.

It is but to be fair you should check out the performances in my American Idol thread as well to be fair. No one should be judged by one song!
