Love it or hate it, its minimalist and " its not cool to be cool " attitude changed rock till this day. No band has broke its overshadowing influence since.

So, for it being the most influential, i will also call it the best.

Couldn't agree more. It's not my cup of tea, but the impact it made on people and music is enormous and therefore the best album in the last 20 years.

My personal favorites would be Wildflowers by Petty or (What's the Story) Morning Glory by Oasis.

As tempting as it is for me to go with one of Dylan's recent albums, Joe Strummer's last album, or an album by the Black Keys (who I very recently discovered and love), I'm going to have to go with this...

It could have been a game changer, but it was so good that no one wanted to play anymore.

I think one of my favorites would be New Rituals they have a great power in their sound, they are the essence to return to the 70's sound.
