Mick...if by defintion "frontman" is the guy out front shaking his fanny whose band managed to rack up the most $$$...and that SHOULD be the definition, because that WAS what it was all about and there should be no further discussion about the matter 'cause the $$$ do not lie.

Almost no one will share my view, but I think Bono is by far the most substantial and genuinely dramatic front man of the rock era.

I think Bono is great, but i don't think that he is the greatest frontman. His apearances in the news create bias towards him.
I like Paul Rodgers very much, hes no Freddy mercury, but i don't think anyone could to a better job of replacing him.
