Re: Radiohead

Something seems off to me with RH's new album. It clocks in at around 37:00...which is just not enough. I wonder if they are holding something back... It would be just like them to mess around with all of their fans.

I actually haven't heard it yet, I'm waiting for a chance to listen to it in it's entirety, but from what people have been saying that it's quite possible that how short it is has something to do with this newspaper album concept. Something about adding on instalments

Re: Radiohead

I LOVE this!

Warning: This doesn't make fun of Radiohead in any way but a sense of humor IS required! :grinthumb

I have an MP3 right now Cream'd but haven't had time to give it a proper listen.

I'll play it today a couple of times hopefully and let you know what I think.

Re: Radiohead

I get the distinct feeling this is the "appetizer" and for the full course dinner you have to pick up the deluxe "newspaper" edition you told us was coming later....Radiohead is nothing if not unpredictable.

I'll be listening to the new album in a few minutes.:D

Re: Radiohead

I listened to the new album today, and I don't really think much of it at the moment. Though, a first listen through is pretty hard to make an opinion with. I'm going to give it 1 or 2 more listens to see if it gets any better for my liking. I'm hoping it does.

Re: Radiohead

I've been wanting to get into Radiohead for a long time. I recognize their talent, innovation, and that they are probably their era's Beatles. I just don't know about Tom Yorke's voice. When he starts to do his screams or holding out notes, it just really rubs me the wrong way.

Is that something you grow to enjoy or is Radiohead just not for me? I do like a bunch of their songs, but like a half album and I'm ready for something else.

I don't know. I wish there was something that just made it click for me because everyone raves about how good they are. I just haven't been able to get into them.
