This thread is up to highlight the most notable or memorable rock and roll feuds that have occured within the band. Obviously the longer a band has had members fighting back and forth (such as Kiss or Van Halen), the better. However, newer groups are also acceptable.

I posted a similar companion thread reserved for feuds between two different groups. That can be found here: http://www.classicrockforums.com/forum/f4/notable-rock-roll-feuds-1-between-two-artists-bands-12934/

For this particular thread, though, please keep it limited to feuds occuring within one individual group between various members.

To clarify, this particular thread would also be the place to cover or mention feuds between two people who were in a band together for a long time but are no longer working together, such as Steve Perry/Neal Schon, Sammy Hagar/Eddie Van Halen or Lou Gramm/Mick Jones.

Umm I guess there is a couple. The main two that come to mind are Blur vs Oasis which was basically a battle centred around the voice of the British upper class (blur) vs the voice of the british working class (Oasis)

The other one which I think of is the Dandy Warhols and the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Both bands came from very similar origins and began as friends but when the Dandy Warhols broke the big time the Brian Jonestown Massacre decided that they had sold out their alternative roots. And that's where the fight continued from, the brian jonestown massacre continually opposing the commercialization of bands while the dandy warhols standing by the fact a band can be popular while still maintaining their musical integrity

Oh sorry, didn't give it a proper read. In all honesty I think fights between bands are more interesting. In the case of internal fights everyone is going to get annoyed with each other sooner or later in the case of fights between bands there tends to be something really fundamental that irks the bands, normally quite an interesting debate

Fleetwood Mac - particularly the nasty spats between Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

Oasis - the Gallagher brothers' constant fighting ultimately leading to the break-up of the band.
