Santiago, Chile.
1.- Revolver: It's simply perfect. In my opinion, it has the best love song ever written (Here, There And Everywhere), a brilliant song like Taxman with a real message and the great creation of Eleanor Rigby, probably one of the saddest songs of all time.

2.- White Album: What can I say about this? It has been really influential on the good and bad way (let's just remember Charles Manson) and that is what talks about the greatness of this record: how anyone can relate to it and get a very special and personal meaning for it. It has so many great songs and they are all so different from one another that you just can't get bored. Happiness Is A Warm Gun is definitely a brilliant song.

3.- Help!: Very simple love songs. But i find that the simplicity of the thing they try to express is what makes it just that more beautiful. Because its lyrics like these that any of us can feel, but it's just so hard to put it in music, and the way it is delivered in this album is just fantastic

4.- Let It Be: Great Rock&Roll and other favourites of mine like Two Of Us and Across The Universe.

5.- Magical Mistery Tour: Beautiful psychedelic pop. Probably one of the most fun albums I have heard. You can laugh with it and it will probably never bore you.

The Beauty of the Beatles catalog is that its so diverse, different and equally great that you can never really say: "This is the BEST Beatles album". Unlike other bands where there is a generally accepted "Best Album", that doesn't happen with the beatles. Most people say Sgt Peppers, but that is mainly because of how influential it was in the time. But when you analize it now in retrospective, it's an impossible mission to determine which is the best.

For me it's a really tough, tough tie between Abbey Road, and Rubber Soul...

But if I HAD to choose just one, I think Abbey Road would get the vote.

My favorite is Abbey Road. In my opinion it is Pauls best and Georges best.

1) Abbey Road. Completely agree that it is George's best and at least one of Paul's best. John's songs aren't too shabby either (Come Together is my favorite song). There's not a bad song on Side 1 and Side 2 is even better. It's an absolute master piece.

2) Revolver. In my opinion it is John's best album (I'm Only Sleeping, Doctor Robert, She Said She Said, and of course Tomorrow Never Knows). Sgt. Pepper always gets the credit for being their most groundbreaking album, but to me it's Revolver. They started to change on Rubber Soul and even Help!, but they exploded on Revolver. Was George or Ringo that said Revolver and Sgt. Pepper could have been Volume 1 and Volume 2.

The rest of them are a revolving door as which one would be 3. Rubber soul is great for the folk-y, Dylan-esque songs. Let It Be is great for the great blues. Sgt. Pepper is the most influential album ever. If the White Album was whittled down to one album, it could be their best, just too many below average (Beatle's average that is). Still amazing though.

Sorry for the double post, but...

Completely agree with this too. It's all about what you like. They had something for everybody and that's why they are the most loved band ever. Even the stuff that wasn't right up your alley was still great and it would grow on you. Some people absolutely love a song that you may not care for and vice-versa. There have been many times where I wasn't a huge fan of a song, but someone I know loved it and I would give it another listen and see its greatness. The one that always pops into my mind is Yer Blues. My dad loved that song and I didn't until he told me how much he loved it. I gave it a few more listens and now it's one of my favorites.
