This VH1 interview is from December 2005 - I think - and Lee and Lifeson were saying the "holiday is over" and they were about to go back into the studio. So maybe a new CD early next year?

i am an intern at universal and i heard some ridiculously good rush news that i thought you guys would like. They are coming out with a new 3 disc dvd on june 12th. it also includes a cd of some of the live performances. I can't wait. Neil Peart is one of the reasons i started drumming. I assume there will be ridiculous drum solos as was evident on the rush concert i saw on vh1. There is a clip at http://www.rush.com/php/replay_dvd.php Thats just a clip
Can't wait.

I've been hearing some things about that cd also. But I'm not sure when it comes out. They'll probably release the DVD first then wait to release a CD if they are recording one. I'm guessing around Christmas or something. That would be really cool.

*shrugs shoulders* it just seems like a r30/rush in rio knock off, but since its rush it should be awesome, and is there any other fans here of there long story telling songs like 2112, fouintains of lameth, bytor the snow dog, and others?

Well, it is a reissue of three existing DVDs - but I didn't buyt them at the time - so I'll be buying this.

Yes - I like the long, proogyy 70s songs - but the early 1980s was their peak, I reckon.
