Well, other than Genesis as I stated in that post, I've also been getting into these bands, most of them thanks to this very forum

My taste in prog bands just leans towards the more well know ones. I used to listen to prog a lot 25- 30 years ago, and a lot of it i still love. (I even played bass in a Yes cover band briefly about 15 years ago).

My faves are:

King Crimson
Pink Floyd
Yes
ELP
Jethro Tull
Genesis (with Peter Gabriel, not without!)
Mahavishnu Orchestra (more fusion than prog, but they're related)
Zappa (who fits into many categories!)
Rush

Haha I had no idea any of these bands were "progressive" til reading this thread. Guess I really suck at genre categorizations. Thankfully I have CRF to enlighten me
