Seems I've only the one post in here, how odd

Well, other than Genesis as I stated in that post, I've also been getting into these bands, most of them thanks to this very forum :D

(In order of most recent first)
Kaipa
Spock's Beard
Eloy
Transatlantic
Camel
Nektar
ELP
Mostly Autumn
Wishbone Ash
King Crimson
Alan Parsons Project
Styx
The Decemberists
Yes
Rush
Marillion
Kansas
Dream Theater
Porcupine Tree
Supertramp
Pink Floyd

And my list is constantly growing, as I delve further and further into the treasure chest that is progressive rock :D

My taste in prog bands just leans towards the more well know ones. I used to listen to prog a lot 25- 30 years ago, and a lot of it i still love. (I even played bass in a Yes cover band briefly about 15 years ago).

My faves are:

King Crimson
Pink Floyd
Yes
ELP
Jethro Tull
Genesis (with Peter Gabriel, not without!)
Mahavishnu Orchestra (more fusion than prog, but they're related)
Zappa (who fits into many categories!)
Rush

^^I have all of Pagan's Mind's CD's except their latest live one, another very good Scandinavian band.

Haha I had no idea any of these bands were "progressive" til reading this thread. Guess I really suck at genre categorizations. Thankfully I have CRF to enlighten me
The Progressive bands I'm familiar with are

Yes
King Crimson
Pink Floyd
Rush
Jethro Tull
Mothers of Invention
The Moody Blues
Frank Zappa
Queensyrche
Electric Light Orchestra
Tool
Primus

and some others that don't come to mind right now or I'm still uncertain about their "progressive" status
