I grabbed all the names I knew! This sounds like a CRF fest as most of these bands have a thread here! So who's the offender here? Looks good to me! Even the rap guy Lupe Fiasco I've seen live and he puts on a show like a rock star! Harmony would love the Andrew W.K. appearance! And the big names like Tool, Iggy Pop, Rammstein and the Deftones are on many people's concert wishlist! :grinthumb

Lupe Fiasco is great, so's Iggy provided he can still perform, griderman, blakc keys, angus and julia and edward sharpe are all good. But just have a look at this years lineup (which wasn't evn great) but I still know who'd I'd rather see

Summer of 1980, because they took place within weeks of each other, it was either REO Speedwagon at Apline Valley or The Cars at Milwaukee's Lakefront Rock Stage. Both great concerts. REO was huge at the time. The Cars were equally cool. They preformed most everything off their debut album and their latest release Candy O.

It was Numan at Wembley Arena in 1980, I was excited and nervous all at the same time and travelled down to London by coach with a male friend who was kind of a friend of a friend.

Makes me smile now thinking about him, it was really good of him to go with me as I dont think he was a Numan fan at all and my friends wouldnt let me travel all that way on my own.

We ended up going down for the day and couldnt come back until about 5.00am the next morning from the coach station in london so many hours were spent hanging about for the coach to return to pick us up.

I remember this guy sleeping that heavily on our return his snores were really load and he kept the coach amused with his noises lol.

The gig was amazing and it was when Numan was at his height in the Uk and I guess lots of other places.

Telekon Tour I think they called it with Tic and Toc and also Nash the Slash!

I was, at that time, Numans number one fan lol, He got so much stick here in the UK but he has stood the test of time and moved with it also and evolved and so have I so Im not as mad about him as I was but I still go see him when I can and relive some of my youth so to speak :D

Yeah the 1980s were an exciting time and if I could go back in time to a place in my life it would be then :D

A flashback! The sound doesnt do this clip any justice you had to be there to appreciate the atmosphere, it was awesome when he came out on stage in the spaceage car :D - Big Sigh!!!!

You wouldn't see the pixies, philidelphia grand jury, john steele singers or violent soho

Well the reason you missed it is it's was only in queensladn (about 40 minuites from where I live) and it cost 400 dollars for the three days

Don't really like The Pixies, PGJ I'm only just getting into, John Steele and Violent Soho I've only heard a couple of songs from.

Well, that would explain it! :heheh:

Re: Concert Viriginity

Alice Cooper and Motorhead on the "Raise Your First And Yell" tour!!

Ouch! :oy:

First was a Danish rock band - the oldest band in the country: Gnags, 1987

Second was: Ray Sawyer's Dr. Hook, 1988. She's the Queeeen of the silver dooollar!

Third was Loverboy/Saga (except Loverboy couldn't be bothered with showing up - Saga played their set twice  )

Fourth was Scorpions on the Savage Amusement Tour in 1989. Basically same set and show as World Wide Live :metal:

Fifth... hmm, this is where Alzheimer's sets in :heheh:
