^^Yeah after reading all the recent posts I have nothing to add, except it is a laughable situation. How can anyone take the R'n R HOF seriously looking at all the great bands not represented.:mad
This smacks of generational politics and commercial influence to me, therefore it is Not a proper reflection of the real music that I grew up with and all the new bands I have picked up along the way. I also think the Rap/Hip-Hop bands should have their Own HOF they are not rock and roll music and never will be on my list. Sorry if that offends anyone but it is the truth. And there are many other "Separate" awards etc., specifically given to ensure everyone gets the recognition they deserve. If it's the Music Hall of Fame then that would be different, but it is supposed to be the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I dont pay that much attention to who is nominated or who should be nominated. Basically the RnR HOF has become a joke and the panel who does the selection is definitely becoming generational and MTV/vh1 motivated.
I will use my own judgement of who is BOSS in RnR and go to their concerts, buy their CD's, and support them in anyway I can.......I believe the fans speak louder than a 4x4 space in a RnR museum can ever speak.
