The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em) was a pretty big hit a couple of years before Jeopardy came out.
The song reached #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and #5 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart.
I'm pretty sure that Joe Satriani even played with him for a short while in the mid 80's. You don't pick up a talent like Satch by being a 1-hit wonder (not saying Kihn was ever a superstar, just sayin'). I also think he had a minor hit with a remake of the Tommy Roe classic, Sheila in the early 80's.

Wow...I didn't even know they sang that song. Nor did I know that song was such a big hit.
