When the list is finished (they only add 10 per day)
we'll strip them.
we'll strip them.
Liam Gallagher is kinda overrated. He didn't really do shit for Oasis; Noel wrote the songs, actually played an instrument that wasn't a tambourine, had better vocals in many cases, was actually sober every now and then, and he isn't an asshole. I wouldn't have such a problem with Liam if he wasn't the reason Oasis split up.
The Great Sooty predicts there will be complaints about Garth Brooks, Eddie Vedder and Fishas whole list (though not from Sooty himself) in the future!
Garth Brooks was huge in the '90s, adding energy and arena rock theatrics to spice up the normally staid country music approach to concerts. Brooks was influenced by the operatic rock of Freddie Mercury, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen. Kiss was also one of his earliest grade school musical influences. He integrated rock elements into his recordings and quickly crossed over into the mainstream pop arena to expose country music to a larger audience. He won "Entertainer of the Year" at the country music awards in 1990, 91, 92, and 93 and again in 1997 and 98. According to RIAA he is the best-selling solo albums artist in the United States of all time (overall is second to the Beatles) with 128 million units sold. and his album sales through the end of 2009 are at 68,363,000, which makes him the best-selling albums artist in the United States in the SoundScan era (since 1991), a title held since 1991, well over 7 million ahead of his nearest rival, The Beatles.
Ok everyone say who they are keeping an eye out for, I'm watching for thom yorke, Kurt Cobain, Billy Corgan, maybe Billy Joe
I fully expect David Lee Roth and Freddie Mercury to place very highly. Anything below #15 is absolutely unacceptable for Dave and anything outside of the top ten, if not the top five, is unacceptable for Freddie.
