This has the potential to be a dead topic but here goes anyway! Are their any other rock songs that involve something similar to a lullaby or a soothing sendoff into dreamland!

I was inspired to make the thread when was listening to this soothing Pumpkin track! As an aside I love the songs that give James Iha a shot at singing! Love his voice!

Halfway between the gutter and the stars
I tend to us ethis one if I need to go to sleep, it does have the unfourtunate effect of making me horribly depressed
♫Curse my enemies forever
Let's slit our wrists and burn down something beautiful
This desperation leaves me overjoyed
With fading lights that lead us past the lives that we destroy♫

Has anyone heard any of those albums in the series called "Rockabye Baby"?

They are instrumental and lullaby versions of Tool, Nirvana, Metallica, Green Day, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin....there are tons of them. They are really great!!!!

These albums are brain food for a whole new breed of whiz kid, the Rock n' roll kid.

Whenever I do have grandchildren, these will definitely be the lullabyes they will hear at "Granny's House"

This has the potential to be a dead topic ...

I think it's cool, I'll play....

Naturally Dream Weaver by Gary Wright
Imagine - John Lennon
Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis Presley
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton
In My Life - The Beatles
Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Floyd
Drive - Cars
Desperado - Eagles
Dust in the Wind - Kansas
Crystal Ship - Doors

I sleep with the radio on anyway so just about anything works for me.
