Re: Rhapsody (of Fire) Appreciation Thread

I've had that one for a while now MP...kind of strange how Rhapsody went about releasing "Frozen Tears...." and then a few weeks later this EP.

I imagine they'll combine the two in a bonus package and release them next year.

I'll have to play them both a few more times to really get a feel for them, I'm not sure how I would rate them against the previous albums just yet.

The length of the EP is as long as a classic album though :heheh:

Over a half hour long is pretty long by say RUSH ~ Moving Pictures standards. Nowadays...and album like Permanent Waves would be considered an EP...:heheh:

But yeah I can't wait to order this. When you get time give me a run down...would like to know what you think as it may be a week or better before I order. :cheers2

Re: Rhapsody (of Fire) Appreciation Thread

At first "Frozen Tears...." didn't do much for me, I enjoyed the Christopher Lee narration, but wasn't bowled over by the songs themselves. However being a veteran now...:D...I played it a few more times and it began to grow on me.

I'll play "Cold Embrace..." later today and tomorrow and get back to you MP.

Disclaimer....I am a HUGE fan of Rhapsody...and so my opinions about the band and their albums even when served with a block of the finest Cheese is totally biased and always will be.

:lmao:
