Possibly the only one is The Darkness because it'S Justin and Dan being stubborn and holding grudges.

They BOTH need to quit acting like babyheads and get on with it..their sub bands are very good/but The Darkness is BRILLLLLLIANT !

I agree Salmacis, a Genesis reunion would be most triumphant. I saw them back in '07 when they toured and was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. I want to see them reunite with Steve Hackett and Peter Gabriel. That would be something.
If you could resurrect I would have to say The Who. The stuff they would have been able to put out with Entwistle and Moon throughout the past couple decades would have been good stuff.
I would like to see Emerson, Lake, and Palmer get together again and put out an album. I wonder how it would sound like!

Any Genesis re-union would be awesome, hell, I'd be happy even to see a Calling All Stations tour if they come anywhere near Australia! :D

Quiet Riot (I've always felt like Quiet Riot was a band that had so much more to give but just never got the chance)

I agree, though even if Kevin DuBrow were still alive it'd only be worth doing if Carlos Cavazo and Frankie Banali were involved. Especially Cavazo.

Quiet Riot's bass players were very interchangable, they did just fine without Rudy Sarzo on several albums and tours when either Chuck Wright or Kenny Hillary was playing bass for them instead.

And I'll admit Quiet Riot did four or five good songs without Frankie Banali in the band (half of the songs on the Terrified album were played by Bobby Rondinelli, the other half were Banali).

However, I didn't like the very last album Quiet Riot did at the end with a different guitarist. Nobody ever talks about him, but Carlos Cavazo was pretty damn important to their sound throughout their career.

As for my other choice, I'd say any early Beach Boys lineup with Brian Wilson.

Don't even go there, they could not pay me enough to see that stupid lineup.

Signed,

Rick

No kidding, right? Other than providing some backing vocals on a Scorpions album (a live one at that), Ray Wilson hasn't been heard from since Genesis booted his sorry butt. That is if that was even his name in the first place.

Tip o' the Fish (my name in the rest of the online universe) cap to seeing the Beatles reunited. There could be NOTHING better!

As for my own suggestion, I nominate Stevie Ray Vaughn. While he had already created a worthy catalog, I'd like to have heard what he had to say with a sober and more mature mind.
I think he'd have gotten better by the drop.

Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band would have been great. Unfortunately the Captain passed away not too long ago. God bless you Captain Beefheart and all that you did for early experimental rock. You will be sorely missed.
On a lighter note I would love to see The Velvet Underground get back together.
