Some good candidates so far...so here's my contribution.
If we are talkin' Seriously Crazy, then hands down "Varg Vikernes" of Burzum gets my vote. He killed another musician, and burned down a church trying to chase the Christians out of Norway and return to the worship of Odin. Talk about a serious mentally ill musician he takes the cake.
